After planning for more than a year, Nordic Summit 2025 approached fast. The organizing team met on Thursday, September 18th, to make the final preparations and also continue planning next year’s conference! More about that in a later blog post. Sponsor booths were put together, speakers’ gifts organized, badges and badge decoration for ice breaking prepped, check-in devices tested, and the venue, with all its session rooms, was tech checked and memorized.
Ready for pre-day workshops!
Friday, September 19th was full of energy at the Clarion Hotel Post in Gothenburg. Attendees arrived and were shown to their chosen pre-day workshop rooms. This year, we had six pre-day workshops to choose from:
- Sean Astrakhan and Parvez Ghumra delivered The ALM workshop you’ve been waiting for: Azure DevOps made easy! providing attendees with 5 environments each and taught them how to build enterprise grade DevOps pipelines.
- Cathrine Bruvold and Joe Griffin delivered Designing Beautiful Apps for Functional Makers: A Masterclass in Fusing Power Apps Capabilities, bringing the best of both worlds canvas and model-driven Power Apps together.
- Pauline Kolde and Björn Zahnow delivered 🚀 From Journeys to Insights: A Complete CI Masterclass, unveiling the full story of Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.
- Katerina Chernevskaya delivered From Concept to Intelligent Agent: Build AI Agents with Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry, showing real-world use cases and letting attendees explore how to design, customize, and integrate agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, extended with Azure AI Foundry.
- Ted Ohlsson delivered Building modern F&O solutions with virtual entities, taught the attendees about virtual entities and they got hands-on with combining F&O, Dataverse, virtual entities, and Copilot Studio.
- Markus Ehrenmueller-Jensen delivered Data Modeling in Power BI – From Zero to Hero, meaning all Power BI fans in the Nordic countries (and travel enthusiasts) had the opportunity to sharpening their Power BI data modelling skills.
We are super proud to have had workshop instructors traveling to Gothenburg from near and far, to deliver these workshops. We hope the attendees both learned a lot and had fun too!
A big thank you to the workshop instructors for coming here and being such excellent educators, spreading knowledge, energy, and all-around good vibes. Thanks also to all the attendees for joining us, and we hope you’ve come home with fresh ideas.
