It’s that time of the year again! We hope you are ready to submit your session proposals for Nordic Summit 2025! In this post, we’ll remind you about how to submit sessions successfully, let you in on what kind of sessions we are looking for and we’ll add our suggestions when it comes to letting AI help you with your proposal.
Also see our 5 tips related to session submissions from last year and the original Submit Sessions Successfully post from the year before that.
What we are looking for
This year we’re planning on including a variety of sessions, ranging from 20-minute overviews as quick topic intros, to 45-minutes breakout sessions, 90-minute deep-dives and full-day workshops.
As previous years, we’re looking for speakers on Power Platform and Dynamics 365 technologies. So consider all your favorite topics within Power Platform and Dynamics 365, including ALM, Governance & Security and other related topics. See our Call for Speakers page for even more details on what we specifically are looking for content on.
With the strong emergence of Copilots and agents, the different Copilots, agents and Copilot Studio, coupled with other AI services within Power Platform and Dynamics 365, will have a footprint in the conference agenda as well. Submit your AI related sessions!
This year we’d love to have more pro developer content on the agenda, that is also something our audience has expressed. Please also submit all sessions related to pro dev content within Power Platform and Dynamics 365!
This year I want to see A LOT more PRO dev session submissions. Make sure to send in everything you’ve got related to Dataverse plugins, Azure extended solutions, pro dev testing techniques, PCF related sessions and of course – everything community tools related 🤓
If you remember eXtreme365 (RIP 😢), you know how great it is to go deep into the technology – not just ‘using’ the platform, but also ‘understand’ the platform! Such deep-dive sessions would be an awesome addition. When it comes to evaluation of sessions, it might be the case that sessions without “Copilot” and “AI” mentioned, will rank higher for me 😏
We’d also love to see sessions about products and services that are used combined. Such as your Dataverse apps or Copilot Studio custom agents that gets extended using Azure technologies or utilizing different Dynamics 365 products together.
Will you create a session covering Dynamics 365? When Nordic Summit started out, we had a focus on the CE/CRM side of D365. Last year we introduced ERP content for the first time and we want to have that in our agenda again to feature the platform as a whole. “One Dynamics, One Platform” is high on the radar for content!
My favourite sessions are on topics you are passionate about, and it shines through when you write about it in your session description. Ideally you can bring in real-life scenarios to build upon or use how you have built your expertise on the topic. I am looking for content for “One Dynamics, One Platform”, and want to see content on both the CRM and ERP side in our agenda!
Another thing we’d also love to see is some new content (as well as speakers) that we have not seen before 😀 Familiar faces and content are welcome too of course! We’re always super happy to see returning speakers.
Let AI help you with your session proposal
ChatGPT and Copilot are like buddies that can help you with your proposal. They’re great for getting inspiration and fine-tuning ideas you already have, don’t forget spell checking! While AI might help make your proposal a success, it could also do the opposite. Perhaps you’re already a prompt expert. Anyway, here are some DOs and DON’Ts from our perspective.
Dos
✅ Balance AI-generated content with your own input.
✅ Let your favourite AI service help you explore session topics.
✅ Use it to further expand your initial ideas of the session.
✅ Have AI help you explore what demos might be fun to include.
✅ Use AI for spell-checking before submitting your proposal.
Don’ts
❌ Rely only on AI for your session proposal. Your unique insights and expertise are invaluable!
❌ Make it obvious the text is AI-generated by overusing complex words when not necessary.
❌ Include ALL common “AI words”, e.g. supercharge, “ever-evolving landscape”, delve, cutting-edge, unleash, to name a few.
❌ Overuse of the em-dash (—) or having bullet points for everything.
❌ Skip the proofreading. Review the final text to catch errors or awkward phrasings done by AI.
Please submit more than one line (such a short session proposal will most likely not happen because of AI usage though. 🙂
